Update of weight loss

This week was a good week, started 30 day Paleo Challenge and its amazing. I feel great, more focused , more energy and my skin is not so oily ( I know TMI). I am still reading the book, "why am I fat" interesting book. I am looking more at the science of weigh loss , Dr. Taubes says that we have been trained into thinking they "calorie in - calorie out" method of losing weight when it is theoretical but one fact ... It's the food that you eat that makes the difference. His theory has been questioned by many , but I am proof that it works.

   Well I am learning a lot about nutrition, testing out theories and doing a lot of research so I can not only live healthy, but understanding the underlying factors of why obesity exists.  This is not just a 8 week learning exercise, but it is a lifelong journey with no destination.  I am reading The Life That Wins by Watchman Nee and he wrote "For the life that win is not attained, but obtained. It is not a life changed, but rather exchanged. It is not suppression, only expression". Now one might ask ... What the heck does this have to do with nutrition and fitness? Well everything, Nee was talking about Christ within us and the next paragraph talked the eight kinds of failure that Christians endure... One was sins of the flesh.  Now when we hear "sins of the flesh" we automatically think ...SEX... We don't think FOOD.  We should treat our bodies as temples because HE lives inside us.

   What will help us obtain with goals, both long term and short term is our prayer life and just by reading the Bible on a daily basis.  I will admit I am guilty of not doing them faithfully and I have paid the price in my own life.

   I WANT TO BE A LEADER... I must act how I speak....
